Corina Mills (President) Corina has been employed with Miami-Dade County Public Schools for 22 years. Currently, she works as a Curriculum Support Specialist for the Division of Student Services. Corina oversees the Secondary School Counseling Program and the College Assistance Program. Her day also includes serving as a School Counselor/College Assistance Program (CAP) Advisor for the iPrep Academy instituted by M-DCPS Superintendent, Mr. Carvalho. Additionally, she works part-time as an administrator for the adult ed program via Miami Springs Adult Education Center.
Ana Koufopoulos (Past-President) Ana has worked as an elementary counselor for six years at South Hialeah Elementary. Ana is committed to helping students and parents navigate through educational and personal issues. One of her greatest accomplishments as a counselor is to witness the personal and academic gains of the students she has worked with via individual or group counseling. She is an active member of the Florida School Counselor Association (FSCA) and the Florida Counseling Association (FCA).

Lisa Morhaim (President Elect) Lisa is currently a Pre-K through 8th grade counselor at the St. John the Apostle Catholic School. She is a highly motivated and caring School Counselor with a track-record of supporting emotional behavioral, social, academic and career guidance needs of typically developing youth and children with special needs. She takes great pride working with her students and the close knit community at St. John's. She has recently moved here from New York and enjoys the warm welcome that she has received from the people of Miami. Her favorite quote is "Children don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care."
Ida Sigillo (Vice President) Ida is a graduate of FIU, where she received her Master’s Degree in Education, Urban Education and her Specialist’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling. She has been a counselor for over 20 years. Ida is currently the only counselor at George T. Baker Aviation where she oversees all dual-enrolled high school students and more than 800 Adult students. Since 2009-2010, Ida served as DCA Vice-President and the Student Services Breakfast Co-chair.
Nancy Bauerlein (Secretary) Nancy holds M.Ed. and Ed.S. Degrees in Counselor Education from the University of Florida. She has 29 years experience, currently in her twelfth year with M-DCPS. She is the counselor at Calusa Elementary, where she provides and promotes community service initiatives with her students and staff. She has served as DCA Recording Secretary since January of 2009. Nancy was nominated for Teacher of the Year at her school and earned National Board Certification in 2009. In 2011, she was nominated for FSCA Elementary School Counselor of the Year.
Candy Hertsch (Treasurer) Professional Counselor, with Miami-Dade County Public Schools for 31 years and continues to serve on the Dade Counseling Association Leadership Board for over 11 years. She was awarded Counselor of the Year for both Miami-Dade and State of Florida 1999-2000. She holds the position as FCA President for 2010-2012 meeting the needs of all counselors throughout the State of Florida.
Andrea Pastorello (Treasurer-Elect) Andrea is a LMHC with over 15 years experience working both in the private sector and MDPS. She is currently starting a private practice focusing on divorce, and providing individual and group therapy for children and adults. Andrea has extensive experience serving on numerous boards in the position of treasurer and president. The last four years has served as president of her Home Owner Association. She was newly elected as treasurer for Florida Mental Health Counselors Association- Miami Chapter. She was recruited by her City to hold the position of director of Community Development District.
Angelic Yanez (Historian) Angie is a Curriculum Support Specialist for Middle School Counseling in the Division of Student Services for M-DCPS. She previously served as a school counselor at several middle schools in Miami-Dade County, beginning in 1981. Angie received the DCA Middle School Counselor "Exemplary Services Award" in 1997 and was awarded John F. Kennedy Middle School's "Teacher of the Year Award" in 2000-2001 while working as Test Coordinator and chairperson for Student Services. She has served DCA in many capacities, as President, Recording Secretary, and Historian and is an active member of ASCA, FCA, and FSCA.
